Patrushev announced the prevention of a terrorist attack at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant

Russian special services prevented a terrorist attack at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, Nikolay Patrushev, secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, said on November 3, APA reports citing Scooptrade.

Earlier in the day, Volodymyr Rogov, chairman of the movement “We are with Russia”, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, also spoke about preventing the attack.

According to him, a cache with explosives left by the Ukrainians in February-March was found on the territory of the facility. Initially, the Ukrainian authorities assumed that the explosion should be carried out by one of the employees of the nuclear power plant.
