System of "affordable housing" to be established in Azerbaijan

Baku-APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the activities of the State Agency for Housing, APA reports.

In order citizens to obtain apartments on favorable terms at the disposal of MIDA Ltd., a system of "affordable housing" is created on the portal "Electronic government", which will be applied from May 1, 2017.

The decree approves the "Procedure for obtaining apartments on favorable terms at the disposal of MIDA Ltd. by citizens."

In connection with the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers, Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the State Committee for Refugees, the State Committee on Property and the State examination centers have been appropriate instructions.
