Based on the information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan has conducted operational measures against individuals related to FETÖ in our country, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry told APA.
Out of the five individuals who were detained as part of the operations, one has given a statement indicating a connection with Gubad Ibadoglu, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Democracy and Prosperity Party. Based on this statement, a search was conducted at Gubad Ibadoglu's office, during which important case-related documents were discovered, and Gubad Ibadoglu was detained. Currently, the operations are still ongoing.
