Zangazur corridor to become both energy and transport corridor - Azerbaijani Minister

"Azerbaijan will further increase gas export to Europe," said Parviz Shahbazov, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan at the panel “The role of new energy and transportation corridors in the Eurasian zone” within the framework of the X Global Baku Forum on "The World Today: Challenges and Hopes" organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, APA reports.

The Minister stressed that Azerbaijan will increase gas export to Europe twofold starting from 2027: “We have started working with aprtners in this direction since this January”.

Parviz Shahbazov highlighted that Zangazur will become both transport and energy corridor: “We are planning to export energy through this corridor to Nakchivan, From Nakhchovan to Türkiye and Europe".
