Luis Maria de Puig denies possibility of suspending the Russia’s voting right in PACE

Strasbourg. Alexander Kin–APA. President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Luis Maria de Puig denied possibility of suspending the Russia’s voting right because of non-fulfillment of Russian obligations concerning the August events in Georgia. PACE President said there was no proposal and initiative on this issue, APA reports. Luis Maria de Puig also denied reports about Abkazian proposal to open their representation to PACE during the Moscow meetings, but the PACE President did not rule out possibility of such prospects in future. “They did not make such request. It may occur later, but now it is out of questionâ€.
