Ukraine has no intention to attack Belarus, Zelensky claims

Ukraine has no intention to attack Belarus, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said Tuesday, commenting on Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s statement the Kiev offered Minsk to sign a non-aggression pact, APA reports citing TASS.

"You hear all that Ukraine offers officially. We do not plan to attack Belarus and we have never planned to do so. There are no such intentions," Zelensky said during the joint press conference with the President of Finland Sauli Niinisto. "This is the main signal from the entire Ukrainian people to the Belarusian people."

According to Zelensky, a "challenge" may exist for Ukraine from Belarusian territory; however, Ukrainian military were ordered to get ready to any challenges.
