Sunak is expected to announce a new package of U.K. military aid for Ukraine during Zelensky’s visit. In a statement, the British government said it will provide Ukraine with “hundreds of air defence missiles” and “hundreds of new long-range attack drones” and other unmanned aerial systems, to be delivered in the next few months.
The weapons are designed to help “support Ukraine over the coming months in their anticipated military surge to counter Russian forces,” the government said.
