Wrestling competitions held within Minsk-2019 II European Games are underway, APA reports.
Today, three more Azerbaijani wrestlers start the competition.
Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Haji Aliyev marked his debut with victory. Threefold world and threefold European champion did not give any chance to Armenian athlete Valodya Frangulyan with the score 6:0 in 1/8 finals. Haji Aliyev will meet with Belarusian Georgi Koliyev in 1/4 finals round.
Another freestyle wrestler Hajimurad Hajiyev has defeated Kirillos Binenmpauma with 10:3 score and gained a chance to test his skills in bronze medal match.
Rival of Alexander Gostiyev in 86 kg weight category has been identified for bronze match. Gostiyev will fight with Nazem Mines Amine from San-Marino.
