Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with USA increases by more than twice

During January-March of this year, the volume of the trade exchange with the USA conducted by Azerbaijan made up $ 287,926.2 thousand which is 2.4 times more as compared with the same period of the last year, according to the calculations conducted by "APA-Economics" on the basis of the report of the State Customs Committee.

During the initial three months of 2020, the volume of export from Azerbaijan to the USA made up $ 6,066.1 thousand which is $ 764.7 thousand or 14.4 % more as compared with the same period of the last year.

And the volume of import equaled to $ 281,860 thousand which is $ 167,432.2 thousand or 2.5 times more than the similar indicator for the same period of 2019.

Consequently, in the reporting period, the negative balance amounting to $ 275,793.9 thousand developed which is $ 166,667.4 thousand or 2.5 times more in annual comparison.
