The actual dynamics of inflation and its balance at currency market have resulted in the inflation expectations of Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) remaining at minimum level, "APA-Economics" reports citing the statement on main areas of CBA’s monetary policy and financial stability policy for 2020 and medium-term period.
Based on the results of the monitoring of the real sector conducted by the Central Bank, the inflation expectations of household sector for the next 12 months are low and stable. The 3 months’ inflation expectations for non-oil processing industry and service sector are also at the level close to the actual inflation.
Note that in November the 12 months’ inflation was even lower than the average value of the target range and equaled to 2.6%.
