“Situation on the currency market has stabilized”, Chair of Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CBA) Elman Rustamov said in this regard at the press conference held today, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, even in currency auctions requirement has decreased from USD 193 mln. to USD 57 mln.: “There is a potential for additional stabilization. These are problems of people’s currency purchases in cash. We have not returned to the previous level and works in this direction will be continued.”
