Export of Georgia’s domestically manufactured products to Azerbaijan decreases

In January-February of this year, Georgia exported to Azerbaijan the domestically manufactured goods and products in the amount of US$ 10.9 mln. which is 24.1% less in annual comparison, APA’s local bureau spreads the word citing the relevant information given in the report of Georgia’s National Statistics Department.

The information reads that Azerbaijan’s share in export of Georgia’s domestically manufactured products has accounted for 3.1%. In the first two months of the last year, Georgia exported to Azerbaijan the products of this category worth US$ 14.3 mln.

In the reporting period, China was the country whereto Georgia exported the greatest amount of its domestically manufactured products – equaling to US$ 62.9 mln. (3.5 fold growth).

The main domestically manufactured and exported products of Georgia were copper and copper concentrate, gold, steel alloys, grape wine, lemonades and alcoholic beverages.
