Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (ICRC) hosted a meeting with Gustavo Ramirez, economist of the Middle East and Central Asia Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), as well as Norbert Funke of the IMF Caucasus, Central Asia, and Mongolia Regional Capacity Development Center (CCAMTAC), APA-Economics reports.

ICRCT executive-directorVusal Gasimli stressed the necessity for cooperation in the field of macro-fiscal modeling and forecasting, the exchange of ideas, and experience in public finance, finance, and the banking sector.

During the discussion, the sides discussed the international experience in investment efficiency and economic growth, including prospects of successful cooperation in the field of economic reforms.

The representative of the International Monetary Fund, Gustavo Ramirez, said that the institution he represents is interested in economic reforms, diversification, economic transformation, and new development initiatives in the global arena aimed at macroeconomic stability and is ready for cooperation.
