OIC countries’ share in foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan made up more than 16%

There is a close economic partnership between Azerbaijan and member countries of OIC and these relations develop increasingly, said Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov to Azerbaijani journalists at the 38th meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC), APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.

He stressed that the trade turnover of January-October of 2022 between Azerbaijani and member states of OIC increased by 55,4% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and made up USD 7,7 bln.

The Deputy Minister added that the share of the member states of OIC in foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan made up 16,5%.
