Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has disseminated information on the meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Azerbaijani Parliament’s chairperson Sahiba Gafarova, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
According to Russian MFA, actual issues of Russian-Azerbaijani relations in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as within international and regional organizations, through parliaments, were discussed during the meeting between S.Gafarova and S.Lavrov
It was noted that regional security problem including the settlement of the Nagorno Garabagh conflict was in the spotlight of the meeting.
The Ministry emphasized that the meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and allowed to strengthen the consistent development of Russian-Azerbaijani relations.
