Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan: Armenian Defense Minister knows nothing about attack

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan commented on the statements of Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan, ONA reports.

Davdi Tonoyan is a civilian and does not fully understand what military strategy is, or more precisely, what defense and attack are.

“During the April fighting in 2016, he was the Deputy Minister of Defense, and during Operation Gunnut he was already a minister. Both in April 2016 and in the course of this operation, we saw how the Armenian army that wanted to go on the offensive fled from the battlefield. Considering that he is an amateur in the military sphere, we want to note that these populist statements are intended for an internal audience and have no significance from a military point of view. ”

Note that, in his speech on the country's public television, D. Tonoyan said that Armenia changed its military strategy from defense to attack.
