Armenia is busy with its own problems, Head of Shusha District Executive Authority Bayram Safarov told reporters on Tuesday, APA reports.

“Now Armenia is in such a situation that it can not influence anything,” said Safarov, commenting on a possible impact of the ongoing political turmoil in Armenia on negotiations on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Safarov noted that Armenia should first find a solution to its own problems, create stability in the country, and then influence any event.

“For the past 26 years, the Armenian people have been brought to misfortune and have been suffering from poverty. In the twenty-first century when the world is developing they should first pay attention to their domestic conditions and then raise claims in Karabakh. Armenia can not have any claims regarding Karabakh. The whole world knows that Nagorno-Karabakh belong to Azerbaijan," he added.
