Azerbaijan's Deputy PM: "There is no other alternative than peace to normalize situation in the region"

"The Azerbaijani side is interested in the normalization of relations with Armenia," said Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev, at an event on the development prosperities of the North-South Transport Corridor with the participation of Russian and Iranian officials in Baku today, APA-Economics reports.

"There is no other alternative than peace to normalize the situation in the region, and this can be achieved primarily within the establishment of interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia based on mutual recognition and respect for each other's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the inviolability of international borders," he stated.
