Delegation led by Azerbaijani Central Election Commission’s Chairman to monitor elections in Kazakhstan

A delegation led by Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov will observe early elections to the parliament and local representative bodies to be held on March 19, 2023, in Kazakhstan, APA reports.

During the visit, organized at the invitation of Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan Nurlan Abdirov, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov will hold a number of meetings with his Kazakh counterpart and other officials, as well as discuss prospects for cooperation in various fields and issues of mutual interest.

Representatives of the Azerbaijani CEC will be also monitoring the parliamentary and local elections within the observation mission of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the CIS as observers.

CEC representatives will observe the voting process in a number of polling stations in the capital city of Astana and in the regions on March 19, the election day.
