Ethnic Armenians have the same rights as other citizens of Azerbaijan: Minister

Azerbaijan is determined to reintegrate citizens of Armenian origin living in post-conflict areas into its political, economic, and social space, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov said at the 29th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OSCE, APA reports.

He noted that Azerbaijan guarantees that those Armenians will have the same rights and freedoms as all citizens of Azerbaijan.

"The Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan provides a solid legal framework in this sense. The increased dialogue and relations between the officials of the Azerbaijani government and the local ethnic Armenian residents in the past months should be supported and made sustainable," the minister stressed.
