French MFA: Any attack on diplomats is unacceptable

"France condemns the attack on the embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran yesterday, which resulted in human casualty," noted in the statement of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, APA reports.

"France condemns the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran yesterday which resulted in the death of one embassy employee and the wounding of two.

We extend our condolences to the family of the person who died. Any attack on diplomats and the diplomatic corps is unacceptable.

We call on the Iranian authorities to protect foreign diplomats in the country and to investigate this attack in accordance with their powers," the statement said.
