Peter Michalko: EU-Azerbaijan relations developing dynamically

"EU-Azerbaijan relations are developing dynamically," Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Peter Michalko told journalists on the occasion of the World Press Freedom Day, APA reports.

"EU supports Press freedom. Development of media and journalism is one of the areas of cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan," Peter Michalko said.

Ambassador emphasized that the trade relations between Azerbaijan and the EU are also developing." Thus one of the main export destination is the EU. Last year alone, 53% of Azerbaijan's total exports were made to European countries. Also, further development of trade relations is among the future priorities."
