Vyacheslav Volodin visits Alley of Honor and Alley of Martyrs

The delegation, led by Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin visited the Alley of Honor on September 26, commemorated national leader, founder, and architect of modern independent Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, put a wreath on the front of his grave, put fresh flowers, APA reports.

Prominent ophthalmologist-scientist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva has also been commemorated, fresh flowers have been put on her grave.

Members of the delegation also visited the Alley of Martyrs, paid tribute to the heroes of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for the freedom and sovereignty of our country, laid flowers on their graves, and laid a wreath in front of the "Eternal Flame" monument.
