Azerbaijan initiated criminal case against 40 people over Khojaly genocide

In order to raise appropriate petitions before international organizations regarding the investigation of crimes against peace and humanity, war and terrorism, including the Khojaly genocide and other crimes, gross violations of international law norms committed in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, investigation team has been established, said Military prosecutor Khanlar Valiye vat the science-prractical conference held in Military Prosecutor's Office on the occasion of 31th anniversary of Khojaly genocide, APA reports.

Khanlar Valiye stressed that during the investigation of the criminal case, a decision has been made about 40 persons who were proven to have committed crimes against peace and humanity, specifically in the Khojaly episode.
