"Parents of the persons, who went missing in the First Karabakh War, appeal to us today as well," said Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev at the joint briefing of the Prosecutor General's Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the crimes committed by Armenian armed forces and illegal Armenian armed groups against Azerbaijan since 1988 until today, APA reports.

K. Aliyev has noted that he raised the issue repeatedly at the meeting with his counterpart from Armenia: "However, unfortunately, they avoid it and try to avoid responsibility. We have taken DNA examples from 2-3 relatives of every missing person. As human remains are found, we try to identity them. Some of them have already been identified. Found burial sites will help us to decrease number of missing persons."
