AZAL: Price of a ticket for economy class on Istanbul-Baku route - AZN 374, for students - 30% discount

As previously reported, on June 26, AZAL started selling tickets for the Baku-Istanbul-Baku flight. Unfortunately, footages allegedly reflecting high price of tickets spread on social networks by external sites, the press service of the Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC told APA.

It was officially noted that the price of an economy class ticket of AZAL on the Istanbul-Baku route is 374 manats: "In addition, AZAL offers a 30% discount on tickets for Baku-Istanbul and Istanbul-Baku flights for Azerbaijani students studying abroad.

AZAL advises passengers to use the official website of the airline when buying tickets, not to follow provocations and inaccurate information about ticket prices. In some cases, the price of a business class ticket is deliberately shown as the price of an economy class ticket.

In view of the above, the airline reserves the right to apply to law enforcement agencies to investigate subversive activities, ie the dissemination of information of deliberately inaccurate social significance."
