In January-April of this year, 439,0 thousand passengers were transported by air transport in Azerbaijan, which is 33,8% less in comparison to the related period of 2019, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
According to the information, during the reporting period, 99,7% of transportation was carried out by the transport means belonging to state enterprises, while 0,3% belonging to private enterprises.
In January-March cargo transportation by this transport type increased by 56,2%, made up 105,1 thousand tonnes.
