Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. An armed incident took place last night in Lokbatan town, Azerbaijan's Garabagh district.
Lokbatan resident Telman Mammadov says he saw a bearded man come out of their building and when he asked the man who he was the man said he had gotten there by mistake.
The resident goes on to add that after the man had departed he saw a chewing gum pasted on the peephole of his apartment and he immediately came outside to catch the man thinking he might have done it. Upon seeing he was being chased, the man opened fire into the air, says the resident.
He then reported the incident to police.
Efforts are underway to identify the man.
