"Works were started in Azerbaijan in order to involve women in the demining operations," said the head of Institutional development of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov, APA's correspondent reports from Agdam.
He noted that currently, the process is in the selection stage: "It takes some time for women to be involved in demining operations in the areas. After the selection round is over, women will be involved in training. After the training, women who can pass the exams will be involved in the demining operations".
