In Gubadli, a sergeant killed an officer and two ensigns and fled

On January 2, at about 6 pm, information was received about the killing of three servicemen in the service area of the "Gubadli" special border division of the Border Troops of the State Border Service, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told APA.

The Military Prosecutor's Office and the State Border Service inspected the scene, as well as other necessary procedural investigative actions. Preliminary investigations revealed that junior sergeant Avazli Elkhan deliberately killed senior lieutenant Yusif Ismayilov, junior ensign Jalilzade Amil and ensign Ibrahimov Rafail, who fled the scene.
At present, measures are being taken to search for Avazli.
The Gubadli Military Prosecutor's Office has launched a criminal case under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. Additional information on the progress of the investigation will be provided.
