The Ministry of Defense organized a media tour to Kalabajar for the media representatives on the occasion of June 26- the Day of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, APA's local bureau reports.
The journalists crossed the 3,660-meter-high Omar Pass of the Murovdagh Range and visited the military units placed in the direction of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border and in the Kalbajar region.
Within the framework of the visit, Media representatives visited the dislocated sections in the liberated territories.
The media representatives got acquainted with the social and living conditions of the personnel serving in the battle positions.
A modular settlement located on the state border was inspected. Noted that all needs of military servicemen here have been fully ensured. All conditions have been created for the soldiers to wash, change clothes, eat, sleep, do sports, and spend their free time in the modular settlement. Noted that Important work has been done to improve the social and living conditions of personnel at the state border, at the same time, all conditions have been created to improve the combat readiness of soldiers.
Soldier of the Azerbaijani Army serving on the state border with Armenia in Kalbajar Movsumzade Mahammad noted that serving on the state border is an honor: "Every situation was created here. I am proud of that I serve in the Azerbaijani Army. Our service goes well, commanders always show attention and care. Our food supply is very well".
