"There is enthusiasm in all our military units and military subdivision. At the same time, tens of thousands of people volunteer for our army. It shows the loyalty of our people to their state," President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting of the Security Council, APA reports.
Stressing that the Nagorno-Karabakh issue is a national issue of Azerbaijan, the President said that the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue is our historical task: "I have said many times and I want to say today that we must resolve this issue to the satisfaction of the Azerbaijani people. We must resolve this so that historical justice can be restored. We must do so in order to restore the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
I have said many times that we do not need an incomplete solution to this issue, this conflict. We are on our own land, we have no eyes on the land of other countries. But we do not give our land to anyone. We will never allow the creation of a second so-called Armenian state on Azerbaijani soil. We will never allow it, and today's events show it again."
