Presidential aide: “Steps taken in area of solution of conflict through negotiations don’t yield result”

“Armenia’s provocations on the site of Tovuz have been continued beginning from July 12”, said Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Issues Department of the Administration, APA reports.

H. Hajiyev said our Army acting under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev prevents these provocations: “It is the case worth of pride that today, each Azerbaijani citizen shows solidarity. Garabagh is the historical land of Azerbaijan, and all our lands should be liberated from occupation. The international community should also see this unanimous opinion in our society. The main thing is the will of the Azerbaijani people”.

Assistant to the Azerbaijani President noted that serious steps taken in the field of resolving the conflict through negotiations do not give results: “Armenia’s impunity drags it into new provocations.”

H. Hajiyev brought into attention that there have been groups wanting to do harm to the solidarity rally in Baku: “They will also receive their deserved punishment. There is no place for those who do harm to the solidarity of state and people.”
