Defense Ministers of Russia and Turkey Sergei Shoigu and Hulusi Akar signed a memorandum on the establishment of a joint center to control the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh, APA reports.

The joint statement of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia recorded the creation of a joint center to control the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The decision to establish a joint monitoring center will allow reliable control over the parties' compliance with the cessation of the hostilities regime and will form a solid basis for the settlement of the conflict.

The joint center will be located on the territory of Azerbaijan, collecting, summarizing, and checking information on the observance of the ceasefire regime. The center will become the body to deal with any complaints, questions, or concerns related to violations of the agreements.
