Azerbaijan says supports intensive, substantive talks on Karabakh conflict settlement

Azerbaijan supports intensive and substantive negotiations to achieve lasting peace and resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Hikmat Hajiyev, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday, APA reports.

 

Hajiyev said that the Azerbaijani foreign minister will meet with his Armenian counterpart in Brussels this evening.

 

He noted that the agenda and format of negotiations are known, which are based on the norms and principles of international law.

 

“Azerbaijan’s position on this issue is known. Azerbaijan supports intensive and substantive negotiations to achieve lasting peace and resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” Hajiyev added.
