"Today, within the framework of the visit, detailed negotiations were held on current issues of the bilateral agenda, issues related to regional security, international problems, many documents were signed," the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said while making statements to the press with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, APA reports.
The head of state said that some of them were signed with our participation, and more than 20 documents were signed today between the relevant structures: "This creates a broader legal basis for our relations. Of course, among those documents, I would like to specially mention the recently signed Declaration on the strengthening of strategic relations and the deepening of alliance relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The name of this Declaration indicates the importance of the document. We are not only strategic partners, but also allies. Of course, this imposes a special responsibility on us, and we are ready for this responsibility. The declaration contains many aspects of our cooperation and will certainly serve as a very serious basis for our future activities."
