250 more people to be evacuated from Georgia to Azerbaijan

250 more people who remained in Georgia after the closure of Georgia-Azerbaijan borders due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be evacuated to Azerbaijan, the embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia told APA’s Georgia bureau.

The persons to be evacuated in the afternoon on January 21 will be tested for COVID-19. Those who tested negative will be provided with a relevant certificate by the embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia and their evacuation to Azerbaijan will be carried out on January 22.

The evacuated people will not be quarantined in Azerbaijan.

Along with Azerbaijani citizens there are those who have residential and work permission in Azerbaijan, as well as those whose family members are Azerbaijani citizens.
