The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan and State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance has released a joint statement, APA reports.
According to the statement, four more patients have been placed in the Department of Infectious Diseases for medical observation.
They are citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Young people aged 19-21 arrived in Baku a few days ago. They went to see a doctor because their body temperature was above normal.
The Clinical Medical Center told the Ministry of Health that there are currently 6 people in the Department of Infectious Diseases. One of them is Azerbaijan and the others are citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Of the 3 patients, no problems were reported. The other 3 people have symptoms of catching a cold. Physician observations are underway.
