Assistant to President: “If infections increase, we will be forced to lockdowns again”

“The facts we have show that the virus is less likely to spread in open air”, said Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on economic issues Shahmar Movsumov at the meeting of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

Assistant to President said that the mitigations are applied with compliance with sanitary-epidemiological rules, decrease in the number of infections: “The issue here is not the weather. Although the risk of infection in the open air is less, sanitary-epidemiological rules should be strictly observed. Because if infections increase, we will be forced to apply lockdowns again.”
