According to order of the President of the country, teachers’ monthly official salary has been increased by 20 percent from September 1, 2019, and their average monthly salary has reached AZN 600, the Ministry of Education told APA.
After these salary increases, the number of teachers whose monthly salary exceeds AZN 1,000 made up approximately 5 thousand people.
Besides, the salary of the teachers delivering lessons in fine art and creative activity subjects and passed through diagnostic evaluation was increased beginning from October1, 2019 according to relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers.
