The Azerbaijani government controls the price of surgical masks not to be higher than 30 kopecks, said the head of the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers Ibrahim Mammadov in his statement to APA.
I. Mammadov said the price of the surgical masks sold to population shouldn’t exceed AZN 0.30: “Price of medical masks imported abroad, costs more than AZN 0.30. However, the state pays price differences to mask importers in the period of pandemics. The state will pay the price difference during the fight against pandemics, the state subsidizes it.”
