Imports of pedigreed cattle and chickens exempt from customs duties in Azerbaijan

A decision on exemption from customs duties on the import of pedigree cattle and chickens has come into force in Azerbaijan from today, it was reflected in the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers "On Amendments to the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rates of Import Customs Duties and Rates of Export Customs Duties" dated January 22, APA reports.

According to the decision, for the import of pedigree cows indicated in the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Republic of Azerbaijan by code 0102 21 300 0, other types of pedigree cattle indicated by code 0102 21 900 0 (except for heifer), indicated by code 0105 11 110 0 domestic chickens and other types of chickens indicated by code 0105 11 190 0, until December 31, 2023, 0 (zero) import customs duty to be charged.
