Conditions have been set to ensure sustainable settlement in the liberated territories, it was reflected in the “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities on socio-economic development” which approved by President Ilham Aliyev today, APA reports.
National Priorities says that the restoration of Azerbaijan’s historical territorial sovereignty has created a new stage for the population to return to their native territories and live.
Sustainable settlement of the population in the liberated areas from occupation should be ensured. For this purpose, these areas should be turned into the most healthy, modern, and prosperous living environment of the society, a comfortable living environment based on modern principles for sustainable settlement should be established.
The establishment of comprehensive safe and favorable living conditions will be of great importance for the eternal settlement of citizens. For this, decent living conditions should be provided in new areas, modern infrastructure should be built, a comfortable lifestyle and access to modern services should be provided. Using the economic potential of the region effectively, reaching the level of the settlement of the population before occupation level should be ensured.
