TABIB: 92% effectiveness of Russia based vaccine against coronavius, 95% effectiveness of US vaccine, and 95-97% effectiveness of China’s vaccine announced

“Information on 92% effectiveness of vaccines developed in Russia has been provided by producer country,” said today Ramin Bayramli, chairman of Board of Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

He noted that information has been provided from the manufacturer country that the vaccine developed in the US is 95% effective: “Among ready vaccines, according to the preliminary results of CoronaVac vaccine from from Beijing-based Sinovac Biotech is 95-97% effective. This vaccine has been developed with traditional methods. Humanity has been using traditional vaccines for more than 100 years. Causative agents of infection are neutralized in two ways. The causative microorganism is partially destroyed. The second is the complete killing of microorganism. While the vaccine is injected into the body, it neutralizes the harmful substance in the virus.”
