TABIB: Coronavirus infection cases recorded in all regions of Azerbaijan

"The infection cases have been recorded in all regions. The testing of people should be approached on scientific grounds", member of the Task Force created under the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers, Department head of TABIB Yagut Garayeva said at the press conference of Task Force, APA reports.

According to her, WHO has a document for testing, which states that the test is performed on those with clinical symptoms and close contact: "Testing all the citizens of the country does not have a scientific basis, there is not any recommendation in this regard. We are experiencing a serious problem related to contacts. We see during research one patient leaves home, when we calculate the roads, the person walked within 4-5 days, we observe that the person has been in contact with tens of people. One person, who tested positive for coronavirus, causes infection of at least 20-50 people."
