WHO: Diminishing of coronavirus in warm months not proven

The diminishing of the virus in warm months has not been proven, WHO Representative in Azerbaijan Hande Harmanci said at the virtual press conference, APA reports.

According to her, the virus becomes inactive only under Sun: “But there is not any note that with coming of summer months virus will reduce. Currently, the disease is observed in warm countries as well. There may be some decrease, in summer people’s behavior also changes, they go out more. However, the infection increases every autumn, and there is a thought that it may increase again. This is our reality, we should understand and accept it.”
