Judicial review appointed on the case of Armenians accused of espionage and other crimes -UPDATED

The trial of Armenians accused of espionage - Davtyan Davit Tigrani and Sujyan Gevorg Rubenovich - has begun, APA reports.

Today, the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, chaired by Judge Ali Mammadov, clarified the profile information of the accused persons.

Their rights have been explained to the accused persons. They were provided with a lawyer and an interpreter at the expense of the state.

Judicial review has been appointed for July 26.

The trail starts on the criminal case of Armenian militants Mkrtichyan Ludvik Mkrtichovich and Khosrovyan Alesha Aramaisovich, who tortured Azerbaijani prisoners during the First Karabakh war and committed other crimes, APA reports.

The trial is expected to be completed in the administrative building of the Yasamal District Court chaired by the judge of the Baku Military Court Elbey Allahverdiyev.
