A man has been detained in connection with an armed incident that has taken place in the Marneuli region of Georgia last day, Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs released a statement regarding this, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.
The statement reads that the employees of the Marneuli Regional Police Department of Kvemo-Kartli Police Department of Georgian MIA have arrested a man named R.A with charges of intentional infliction of harm to health and illegal possession of firearms.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the detainee injured two people at one of the tea-houses in Shota Rustaveli street in the Marneuli region and escaped from the incident’s location.
The detainee expected to be sentenced to jail from 4 to 7 years.
