“We want the Black Sea to be a zone of peace. We defend this idea,” said Turkish FM Movlud Cavusoglu in an interview with NTV TV channel, APA reports.
He noted that Turkey supports the peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis: “We support the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine and as well as Russia, as well as all states in general. We have very good relations with both Ukraine and Russia. Turkey pursues a sincere policy.”
The head of MFA noted that Russia and Turkey have cooperation in many areas: “ We have cooperation with Russia in Syria and Libya. Russia-Turkey Joint Ceasefire Monitoring Center operates in Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh. Even if Russia and Turkey are on opposite sides, they can turn it into cooperation.”
