EIA increases its outlook on OPEC oil production for this year

Energy Information Administration (EIA) under the US Energy Ministry has increased its outlook on daily crude oil production of the OPEC countries for 2021-2022, APA-Economics reports citing the monthly report of the EIA.

The daily average crude oil production of the OPEC countries this year will be 26,92 mln. barrels, which is 0.25 barrels more in comparison with the previous forecast.

According to the forecast, this indicator is forecasted to be 28,47 mln. barrels next year (the previous forecast has been 28,03 mln. barrels).

According to EIA calculations, daily oil production on the OPEC was 25.6 mln. barrels in 2020.
